Having had the iMac for over a year now I thought it was time to give it s a refresh and rebuild it, starting with a reinstall of the OS and then adding back my files and applications. So far so good, with just a few applications to load.

For those interested, if you are running OS X Lion, restart with Command and R held down to reinstall.

iMac Rebuild

Yesterday I tool delivery of a brand new MacBook Air. It was the 13″ model with an Intel Core i5 1.8GHz processor, 8Gb RAM and a 128Gb SSD drive. I have to say that I have never really had my hands on one before, not even in a shop, but they are very good. Thin but solid and now they even have a good amount of performance and more notably RAM with them too. Look forward to using this for development projects whilst out and about.
